Is Caring Mother free?
Yes. Caring Mother is free to download on Google Play and you can start logging feeds, sleep and diapers right away. Optional premium features are available as in-app purchases. Get it on Google Play
Does the baby tracker work offline?
Yes. Caring Mother is an offline baby tracker — you can log every feed, nap and diaper change without internet access, and your data can later sync securely across devices so all caregivers stay updated. Learn more
How often should a newborn eat?
Most breastfed newborns eat 8–12 times per 24 hours — roughly every 2–3 hours — while formula-fed babies typically eat every 3–4 hours by the end of the first month. A feeding log makes it easy to see when the last feed happened and how the day is adding up. Learn more
What are wake windows and how do I track them?
A wake window is the time a baby is awake between sleeps. Newborn wake windows are about 30–90 minutes and grow to 3–4 hours by 12 months. Tracking sleep start and end times reveals your baby's natural wake windows so naps get easier to time. Learn more
How many wet diapers should a newborn have?
Expect 1–2 wet diapers on day one, increasing to 6 or more per day from about day five. Frequent wet diapers are a reassuring sign a baby is eating enough — a diaper log helps you count without guessing, and 4 or fewer in 24 hours (after day 4) is a reason to call your pediatrician. Learn more
Is white noise safe for babies all night?
White noise is considered safe when used sensibly: keep the volume around 50 dB (no louder than 60 dB), place the sound source at least 7 feet / 2 meters from the crib, and use the lowest effective volume. Caring Mother includes a music off timer so sounds stop automatically. Learn more
How do I remember which side I nursed last?
Log each nursing session with its side and duration. Caring Mother's breastfeeding tracker records left and right sides separately and shows your recent sessions at a glance, so you always know which side to start on — even half-asleep at 3 a.m. Learn more
How often should I pump?
In the newborn stage, most experts suggest pumping about 8–12 times per 24 hours for 15–20 minutes per session, mirroring how often a baby feeds. A pump log helps you keep sessions consistent, which is what protects milk supply. Learn more
Can I track twins in one app?
Yes. Caring Mother is built as a twin baby tracker: create a separate profile for each child and switch between them in one tap. You can run timers and keep independent feeding, sleep and diaper logs for twins or multiple babies. Learn more
How do I know if my baby's growth is on track?
Log weight, height and head circumference and compare them against typical range curves in the app's growth charts. Caring Mother also includes a baby development calendar showing what your baby may start doing at each age. Growth charts are for orientation — your pediatrician interprets them. Learn more
